6 years and a day

Yesterday my husband and I celebrated 6 years of marriage! One of many more to come, Lord willing. It was actually pretty awesome, even during a pandemic. We had a slow morning, and although my husband had to do a little work because he was on call, it was on overall chill day. My family was able to come visit (don't worry, we did make sure they were all ok to come) and share a simple lunch. I mean, what is better than sandwiches, chips, and iced tea. ;). We got to talk and catch up and my boys got to play with their aunt, uncles, and grandma - whom they absolutely adore. And my once everyone left and the boys were in bed, my husband and I had our time together. We decided to have a movie date night. We bought a new movie we would both like and munched on some of our favorite snacks and just enjoyed time together. Remembering our life together and how God as been, even in the valleys.
