If two is trouble...what will three be???

Writer: Catherine Garduno RamirezCatherine Garduno Ramirez

Y’all, my kids need Jesus. So this actually occurred a few days ago (the 15th to be exact), but I got too busy to write that day. So we have recently instituted “quiet time” in my house rather that forcer naps. It seemed that the two toddlers were getting too much sleep during the day, which meant a lot of night wakings and REALLY EARLY mornings....5 am anyone? So I said, well how about that still go in their room at that time - cause I need a break too - and they can either take a nap if they are tired enough, or play quietly. It was actually working pretty well until Ethan, our 2 year-old, figured out that he can also climb the dresser. *Don’t worry, it is anchored to the wall*. So Ethan decided on this day to climb the dresser and start grabbing items off of the shelves that are going above the dresser. One of those items was baby powder...I think you know where I am going with this so let us jut cut straight to the video...

Part of the reason the mess was so big was because Michael - the 3 year-old- helped to move it around the room. Now Michael had been pretty good about letting us know wen Ethan was climbing the dresser. so the last time this happened it was a pretty small mess. This time they both seems to have mischief on the mind so I discovered this surprise when I realized that “quiet time” seemed too quiet.

30 minutes later and if was now mostly clean except for washing the sheets and blankets. Although, I still find patches of baby powder here and there. So now I am afraid for what my future will hold when Benjamin, the baby of the family, can actually join them....

My only request - pray for all of those who reside in our household, particularly the adults who must manage the messes made. Boy-mom life!

I am sure I am not the only mom...or parent for that matter, who feels like they have an overflowing plate of responsibility. I know I...
