Is it just me...?

Is it just me or does anyone else have to same problem with their toddlers eating food? Not like weird and strange food. I am talking about chicken nuggets or spaghetti meat, or even some vegetables covered in butter. My three and two year old act like I am feeding them poison probably 5 nights out of the week. I mean, I might as well be the worst mother on the planet with the meltdowns that occur...and all because I ask them to eat SOME of their food. If they don’t, they know that they will not get any snacks later. So what happens next...they proceed to run around the house and play with more energy then they had all day. WHAT?!?!? I have no idea what keeps those little bodies going other then pure toddler determination. And this is not what I need on a day where I am functioning on more coffee that actual working brain cells. Shout out to all the mommy’s our there who are there or have been there. It is a unique sort of sleep deprivation that we have learned to function in. 😂
On a more upbeat note, our t boy‘s new bunk bed will arrive Tuesday. We are so excited and so are they. They have been sleeping on a full size mattress on the floor for about the last week because we were expecting another bed which never made it here...long story. So we decided to move out their toddler beds and just put them on the floor. The love it btw! They have a ton of room now, although the two year old still seems to prefer the rocking chair 🙄. Anyone else out there have some amusing stories about your little ones, go ahead and share them in the comments below!
